My Mentor
Starting and running a new business can be daunting, and who better to turn to than someone who has done it before and succeeded. Our mentoring programme differs from business coaching as our mentors give of their time at no cost. They are committed individuals who are genuinely keen to see other young entrepreneurs succeed and our past participants have seen the tangible benefits of their mentors' insight - often within the first month!
My Business Group
This is a group that gains specific business insight through facilitated courses by PeerPower. This is an entrepreneur development companyspecialising in assisting entrepreneurs to think strategically, focus on their resiults, support each other and grow their business by having a trusted and experienced support forum. From business plan to pitching tips, companies emerge from this course with an arsenal of skills and documentation that will lead to new deals and increased revenue.
VeloCITI
This is a project aimed at fulfilling BWB and CITI's transformation mandate. Selected empowered companies will receive access to all of CITI's programmes, from mentoring to it's respected and comprehensive networking events programme. VeloCITI graduates companies that are able to hold their own in a very competitive market. Success stories from this initiative include Uninet.
This year a VeloCITI graduate company stands to win business support to the value of R60 000. This includes business support from Cape Venture Partners, press offices from ITWeb and Biz-community as well as PR support from a local PR agency, Salient Communications.
