Can Chicagoans Design The Perfect Transit App? | Co.Design
On July 9th, over 300 excited Chicagoans crammed into the Logan Square office of George and Sara Aye, the founders of a design agency focused on social change called Greater Good Studio. Crowds of developers, politicians, designers, and neighborhood friends mingled, wearing special stickers: “Hi, My Name Is _____. And I ♥ the CTA because _____.” The mob was there to celebrate the launch of Designing Chicago, an unusual Kickstarter campaign that (if successful) will leverage the power of the city’s fiercely proud citizenship to design the next generation of transit app.

HTC's Cher Wang on Innovation and the 'It' Product | Entrepreneur
If you own a mobile device then you've probably heard of tech giant HTC Corp., the Taiwanese maker of tablets and smartphones such as the HTC Incredible, Thunderbolt and Evo 4G. You may be less familiar with Cher Wang, the 53-year-old woman who co-founded the company in 1997. South African entrepreneur talks about his road to the top | HowWeMadeItInAfrica
Marc Sternberg is the founder and managing director of Spark ATM Systems, an independent deployer of automatic teller machines (ATMs) in South Africa. The company, which was started in 2005, installs and maintains in-store ATMs for some of South Africa’s most well-known businesses. Sternberg’s entrepreneurial success has not gone unnoticed as he was recently announced the co-winner of the Business Person – Entrepreneur Award at the 2012 Absa Jewish Achiever Awards.
